William “Bill” Gene Blanchard, age 64, passed away on June 16, 2016.
Bill, also known as “Little Gene”, loved nature and freedom – now as your body returns to mother earth your individual spirit will be at home in the heavens. Our thoughts and our love will always be there with you.
Days before you passed away, your thoughts were filled with kindness toward others. You told a loyal friend caring for you during your battle with cancer: “I don’t want anyone to be upset by my passing. Just because I’m not here in person, doesn't mean I’m not with you.” You asked us to rejoice in our good and merry memories of and with you and to come together as one to celebrate those memories.
Bill said he had a wonderful childhood in his native Roosevelt, where he shall now find eternal peace, next to his beloved grandmother and adopted mother Lola Virvel Blanchard, his adopted father William Henry Blanchard and his father by birth Gene Lavor Gagon.
Survived by Catrin and Liam, Bill’s daughter and grandson in Germany, Amos Gagon and Virlen Gagon with their families, uncles of Bill, Sherry Schnurr and Karen Markey, with many other cousins of Bill’s, and his adopted family.
Please include William Gene Blanchard in your prayers.
Family and friends are cordially invited to join the Graveside service, on Friday, December 23, 2016, at 3 p. m. at the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
