Isaac Middlebrooks (1753-1823) and wife, Elizbeth Jinney Perkins (1756-1840) married in Caswell Co., NC about 1780. Isaac served in the Rev. War from GA (Battle of Savannah, GA although no service records are really found to prove the service, except early DAR applications that give his birth as MD in instead of New Kent Co. VA. Eliz. Perkins was born to Abram/Abraham & Ciceliy/Sicily Turpin/e of Goochland Co., VA and had moved to Orange/Caswell Co., NC later. Isaac's Will is in Morgan Co., GA and names wife and children, Isaac being my line of descent. This son married Elizabeth Betsy Thompson in Clarke Co., GA about 1809. Elizabeth is not the child of Archibald Perkins, but rather a dau. of Abraham Perkins and Cecily Turpin. DAR Rev. War book by McCall has the lineage incorrect, so it might be worthwhile to check records for this family line.
