He was an Army veteran who served along the demilitarized zone in Korea from 1960-1963. After 33 years of service, he retired from Whirlpool Corporation. Kenneth was a member of American Legion Eugene Pate Post and a longtime member of Forest Hills Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, and was a Kentucky Wildcats fan. He was a very kind and giving man, always willing to lend a hand and never asking anything in return.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marshall, Welby, Cooper, Daniel, Clifton, Larry, Mae and Annabelle.
He is survived by his children, Clifton "Eddie" DeMoss and Karen "Dee Dee" DeMoss; grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne, Ethan Michael and Shelby Marie DeMoss; sister, Portia DeMoss; and the mother of his children, Janet Sue DeMoss.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 19, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Stoelting, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
