Patricia Nims Stibor Kaltenbaugh, 74, of North East, passed away, unexpectedly, on Monday February 1, 2016 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born, in Erie, on February 5, 1941 a daughter of the late Donald and Florence Rodgers Nims.
Patricia graduated from Academy High School and went on to graduate from Mercyhurst College. She worked as a medical receptionist with Dr. Liken and Dr. Segu and most recently worked at the Mercyhurst North East library as a librarian. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in North East and enjoyed shopping and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her aunt, Phyllis Rose.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Bruce A. Kaltenbaugh; four daughters, Debra Stibor Peterson (Michael) of Guys Mills, Suzanne Stibor Kibler of Erie, Christine Stibor Pardee (Michael) of Fairview, and Sherry Stibor Nisbet of Girard; five grandchildren, Julia Boyd (James), Garrett Kelly (fiancé, Roxanne), and Zachary, Henry and Lucia Chiapa; two great grandchildren, Katelyn Boyd, who was born on Patricia's 70th birthday, and Thomas Boyd; one sister, Barbara Allegroe (Robert) of Apopka, FL; her stepmother, Rose M. DeDionisio Meister Nims; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services there on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will be private.
