Erma Lee Curtis Devore, 82, of Burlington, died at 4:20 AM Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at the Blair House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Born September 11, 1934, in Keokuk, she was the daughter of Wilbur Lee and Erma G. Scott Curtis. On June 4, 1961, she married Robert Lewis Devore at the First United Methodist Church in Carthage, IL.

She taught business for four years at Sperry High School and later worked for 28 years as a part-time teller at First National Bank of Burlington, now known as US Bank.

She was a graduate of Hamilton High School. She graduated from college at Western Illinois in Macomb, IL with a degree in Business Education.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Erma Lee and her husband enjoyed traveling to almost all of the states in their motor home, especially going south for the winter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
