A resident of Wabash County since 1959, Donald was a retired farmer and for many years owned and operated Roth Motor Shop located on Ogden Road near Laketon, Indiana, where he was well known for chainsaw servicing and repair. As a hobby, Donald did extensive and unique metal fabricating from his shop. On October 3, 1940 Donald married Eileen L. Wade. She passed away December 12, 1993. After the passing of his first wife, Donald married Janice M. (Miller) Baker on April 2, 1994. She later passed away on July 23, 2017.
The memory of Donald E. Roth will be carried on by his two daughters, Judy K. Glenn, and Leanna (Donald) Stouder; step-son, David O. (Kathy Baker; three step-daughters, Reva M. Lannen, Evelyn L. (Neal) Longenecker, and Beverly J. (Larry) Long; one sister, Phyllis (Ralph) Brunk; eight grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; two wives; one step-daughter, Yvonne O. Gallimore; three sisters and three brothers.
