"Pieter Wyckoff (2-Nicholas 1-Pieter Claeson1) was born Abt. 1675 in Flatlands, Long Island, NY, and died Abt. 1759 in Flatlands, Long Island, NY.
He married Willemtje Van Voorhees. She was born Abt. 1677, and died WFT Est. 1711-1772."

Son of Nicholas Pietersz Wyckoff and Sara Monfoort.

Married 1st in 1696 Willemtje Jansen Schenck, daughter of Jan Martensz Schenck and Jannetje Stevense Van Voorhees.

He and Willemtje Jansen Schenck were members of the at Reformed Dutch Congregations, Freehold and Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, circa 1710 ("removed"). The date of this list of Church Members is not explicitly stated. Judging from the names found on the list, it is evident that it is from the first years of the congregation, and therefore "ca. 1710" will be used. "Peter Wiikof and wife Willempe ("Removed")."

Pieter Claes Wyckoff was Elder of at Reformed Dutch Congregations, Freehold and Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, on 8 March 1713.

Witnessed the baptism of a child Wyckoff, child of Cornelius Claes Wyckoff and Adrientje Cornelise Luyster, on 28 October 1716 at Reformed Dutch Congregations, Freehold and Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, (witnesses Peter Wiikof, Willempe, his wife).

Pieter moved from Flatlands to New Jersey, purchasing land from Obadiah Bowne of Middletown in 1710. He apparently returned to Flatlands later in life.

Will dated 25 May 1753 proved 23 Mar 1759. Peter Wyckoff of Flatlands, in Kings County, yeoman, being sick. My executors are to prepare for my wife Elizabeth a sufficient dwelling house with a good fire place in it, for her own use, for to keep her bedding and household goods in. I also leave her my negro boy, Anthony, during her life, and after her death whatever remains is for my sons. It is my will that my wife's place of abode shall be among my children or grandchildren, and no where else. I leave to my eldest son Nicholas my largest copper kettle for his birth right. I leave to my daughter Sarah's children £300 with condition that their father, Nicholas Johnson, shall come to a settlement and division in the Plantation where he now lives with my heirs. I leave to my daughter Jannettie's daughter, Willemptie, £300. All the rest of my estate I leave to my 6 sons, Nicholas, Peter, John, Jacobus, Cornelius, and Marten. I make my sons John and Nicholas executors. Witnesses: Stephen Schenck, Folkert Strong, Nicholas Schenck.

There may be exfoliated, sunken, buried, field stones, as grave markers, for these early Dutch/English congregation of colonists. The majority of the deceased were buried in unmarked graves.
