Beverly S. Ahlersmeyer, 80, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Bethlehem Woods Rehab Center. Born in Decatur, Indiana, Beverly was the daughter of the late Elisha and Gertrude Gause. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed spending time outdoors. Beverly had a special love for horses. Surviving are her children; Kenneth (Mary Ann) Baker of Fort Wayne, Richard Baker of Spring, TX, Bonnie Vann of Liberty Hill, TX, Rodney Ahlersmeyer of Fort Wayne, Michael (Emma) Ahlersmeyer of Wolcottville; step-son, Richard (Sheryl) Ahlersmeyer of Angola, step-daughter, Diana Melton of Tucson, AZ; brother, James (Dottie) Gause of Columbia City, 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her siblings Eugene and Homer Gause, Sharon Kienzler, and Gretchen South. Service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior, Rev. Dr. Thomas Ahlersmeyer officiating. Calling at the funeral home Tuesday, December 13, 2016, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
