Finger, TN: Mae Helen Robertson Pickett, age 85, died Saturday evening December 10, 2016 at McKenzie Health and Rehab.

Mrs. Pickett was born in Robertson Corner Community of Henderson County near Natchez Trace State Park, the daughter of the late Oscar Pafford and Bessie Mae Webb Robertson. She went to school in Henderson County and Chester County and in 1950 married Jessie Clay (J.C.) Pickett. The made their home in the Sweetlips – Enville area. Mrs. Pickett worked for H.I.S. Sportswear at Saltillo and then in housekeeping at Jackson General Hospital in the early 90’s. Mr. Pickett preceded in death in 1999.

She is survived by three daughters; Anita Lambert and husband Larry of Henderson, Rita Meek and husband John of Finger, Judy Alexander and husband Tom of McKenzie, a son Benny Pickett and wife Denise of Finger, 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Willard Robertson of Lexington and Wilber Robertson of Henderson and a sister Lorece Lee of Henderson.

Besides her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; Derick Picket, and Lori Alexander, a brother Lloyd Robertson and a sister Alma Jones.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Dennis Lunsford and Tim Maness officiating. Burial will be at Sweetlips Cemetery.
