Charles S. (Charlie the Barber) Siwicki, age 82 of Stratford, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Yale New Haven Hospital, surrounded by his family. Charlie, the proprietor of Charlie’s Barber Shop in Milford, was born in West Rutland, Vermont to the late Henry and Lena (Burzenski) Siwicki and has been a long time area resident.

He was an avid golfer at Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange. Charlie was also an active member of Our Lady of Grace parish in Stratford, where he was an usher and a member of the Men’s Club. He enjoyed cheering on the U-Conn Huskies, New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Celtics.

Survivors, in addition to his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, include his three devoted daughters and their husbands, six cherished grandchildren, his treasured great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charlie was predeceased by his five siblings.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 13th at 10:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford, and at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church 497 Second Hill Lane Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
