She married in or before 1800 to Christian Mowrey/Maurer.
A death announcement stated: "1857 -- Susan B. Mowrer -Sprigg Twp. Death, age 82 years female born in Pa. daughter of Jacob and Barbary Yergin cause of death: fire." A descendant recalled being told by her grandfather that Christian and Susannah Barbara fought constantly and, in a rage, he pushed her into the fireplace.
