Imogene was born on December 26, 1930 to Claude and Sallie Hampton Box. She is survived by one nephew, Steve Box, a niece, Claudia Box Kneller (Edward) and her nephew’s widow, Kathryn Box. Surviving her, also, are three great-nephews and a niece, Eugene Kneller, Jonathan and Nathan Box and Pauline Kneller, her brother-in-law, Verdon Kennedy (Jane) and his sons, Don, Dan, and John.
Mrs. Kennedy worked for the Pulaski County School District, especially at Wakefield Elementary. She worked for the IRS and was admired by all who worked with her and met her. She was a faithful wife and mother. She loved her family. She loved Jesus and she loved her church family. She has been a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Benton and Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock.
We would like to express our appreciation to the staff at Presbyterian Village and Arkansas Hospice for their excellent care and compassion for Mrs. Kennedy.
A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2016 at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander with Pastor Rick Grant officiating.
