Anthony "Indio Soto" Amavisca 32, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away January 2, 2007. Preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Martinez; grandfather, Antonio Amavisca, Sr.; great-grandmothers, Carmen Soto and Nellie Martinez; great-grandfather, Angel Soto. Survived by mother, Angie (Tom) Jackson; father, Tony Amavisca; grandparents, Mike "Manny" Martinez and Ignacia Amavisca; daughters, Angelica A., Tenixcia A. and Cassandra A.; sons, Raheem A. and Anthony, Jr.; sisters, Amelia and Michelle; brothers, Daniel and Paul. Also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins. Anthony was also loved and raised by Nick Ruiz. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Thursday, January 11, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 801 N. Grande Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. To our beloved father, son, brother and friend, Anthony lived life to the fullest. He was a very strong man. We will miss you very much. You will always be in our hearts and souls.
