Born Sept 16, 1942, in Sikeston, he was the son of George Clay and Annie Johnson Alsup of Troy. Survivors include wife Jean (Ziegler)Alsup of Troy, one daughter Tammy Lynne (Jim) Hancock of Troy, sister Peggy (Mark) Schultz, of Belle, and two grandchildren Jesse Anderson and Julie (Darrel)McDowell. Jerry was preceded in death by his father George Clay Alsup and brother George Ray Alsup Jerry was a sheet metal worker for 36 years at McDonnell Douglas and a member of the sheet metal workers union.
