Obituaries - Katherine Honstein
Katherine Honstein, 81, of Eaton, died Tuesday, Aug. 8 at Fairacres Manor in Greeley.
She was born April 17, 1914, to Henry and Mary (Kaiser) Krause in Windsor where she attended schools.
On Nov. 16, 1936, she married Henry Honstein in Greeley.
Mrs. Honstein lived west of Eaton on the family farm for many years. The Honsteins moved to Eaton after their retirement in 1972. Mr. Honstein died in April 1974.
Mrs. Honstein was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Greeley, Survivors include two daughters, Marlene Seery of Eaton ad Bonnie McVey of Greeley; five sisters, Mary Nickerson and Elizabeth Stromberger, both of Windsor, Frieda Metzler and Helen Erbes, both of Roy, Utah, and Bertha Kinsman of Grayling, Michigan; two brothers, Jake Krause of Denver and Carl Krause of Longmont; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Dave Krause and Henry Krause, are deceased.
Services were Friday, August 11 at First Assembly of Got Church, with interment at the Eaton Cemetery.
Memorial Gifts may be made to the Salvation Army in care of Adamson Mortuary in Greeley.
