Edwina Lee "Nina" Faust died peaceful at her home in Mobile, Alabama on December 8th, 2016 at the age of 85.

She graduated to heaven from the home where she lived and raised her family for 53 years.

Edwina is survived by her sister, JoAnn Fuller (Carol), her children Tonya Beesley (David) and Gregg Faust (Eiron).

She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Kimberly Faust-Erickson (Mike), Adam Faust, Lorin Faust-Bryars (Wayne), Bonnie Hidalgo (Jorge), Olivia Beesley, Kenya Faust-Hall (Caleb), and Todd Faust.

She also has eight adoring great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Yance "Buddy" Faust and her son Gary Faust.

Edwina Lee-Faust was born on April 28th, 1931 in McKenzie, Alabama to Joseph Kendrick Lee and Fannie Lou Raybon-Lee.

She married Yance Myron "Buddy" Faust on December 5th, 1947. "Buddy" was a tax assessor and decorated soldier in WWII.

Edwina's grandfather, George Washington Lee, was a confederate soldier in the Civil war. She cherished her southern family heritage.

After moving to Mobile, AL she worked and retired from Sears after a long respectable career.

Edwina was a beautiful woman that radiated southern charm and hospitality.

She was treasured and respected by all. Friends describe her as "hilarious," generous, compassionate, and kindhearted.

She had a sharp wit with a tenacious flair for "telling it like it was."

Her passion for southern cooking and Alabama football was known throughout the community (Roll Tide!)

A funeral is scheduled for Sunday, 12/11/16 with viewing at 2pm and funeral service at 3pm at Sweet Home Baptist Church in McKenzie, Alabama.
