Rev (Dr) John Bayne ASCHAM (aka ASKAM) was the s/o Augustus Frederich ASCHAM & (2) Melinda AULT. PhD from Boston Univ. Methodist pastor from 1897-1925. Served as 1st Lt (chaplain) in WWI for US Army. Executive VP of Children's Home in Cincinnati from 1928-1943. He wrote several religious books. He traveled extensively in Holy Land. He m 15 Aug 1896 Arcadia, Hancock Co, OH Jessie June BIGGS and had two children: son and Mary Margaret ASCHAM GREEN.
