Alyea Rites Tuesday
Funeral services for Mary Alyea, who passed away in her home in Hebron Saturday, were held yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with Rev. Pengilly officiating. Burial followed in Hebron cemetery. Pallbearers were Louis Keller, Charles Halberg, John Fry, Net Edwards, A.J. Casbon and George Wadsworth.

Mrs. Mary Alyea, widow of George Alyea, and well known Boone township woman, died Saturday night at 9 o'clock at her home east of Hebron, following a several weeks illness, of pneumonia.
The decedent was born in Ohio, sixty-seven years ago and came to Porter county forty years ago, taking up her residence on a farm near Hebron, where she has since resided.
Her husband died in 1905, and a daughter, Mrs. John LaHayn, passed away last year. Surviving are two sons, Earl Alyea, of Valparaiso, and Samuel Alyea, of Hebron, and one daughter, Miss Goldie Alyea, of Hebron. She also leaves four brothers, Thomas, Samuel, William and John Smith, and one sister, all of Attica, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Methodist church In Hebron, conducted by Rev. Mr. Pengilly. Interment will be in Hebron
cemetery.
