Bettie Marie Bowers Rodgers Wagner, 72, of Cambridge Springs, died on Monday, Dec 5, 2016 at Edinboro Manor. She was born in Erie, PA on May 16, 1944, the daughter of the late Donald and Frances (Stafford) Bowers.

She loved spending time with her grand-kids. She was an excellent cook, housekeeper, loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed the casino. She was loved by all her family and friends and will be missed by them greatly.

Bettie graduated from Ft. LeBoeuf High School in 1962. She was employed at Penn Union as a Braid Line Worker. She was a member of the James D. Bowers VFW Post 169 in Venango, which was named after her brother.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers; James, Bob and Bill Bowers; 2 sisters Donna McDowell and Shirley Jostes.

Survivors include 2 sons, Robert and Mark Rodgers both of Cambridge Springs; a daughter, Lisa (Keith) Schleig of Sunbury, PA; 4 brothers Jack Bowers of CA, Richard (Christine) Bowers of VA, Ed (Christine) Bowers of Waterford, PA, and Fred (Susan) Bowers of Edinboro, PA; 3 sisters Jayne Landers of McKean, PA, Judy Cummings of Edinboro, PA, and Peggy Bowers of McKean, PA; also 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
