He was preceded in death by his Parents: Roy and Damia Vaughn Abbott, and Four Brothers.
He is survived by his Wife of 59 years: Emogene Abbott, Sons & Daughters in Law: Johnny & Jeanie Abbott, and Darryl & Kay Abbott, Granddaughters: Sherry Long, Misty Armstrong, Seven Great Grandchildren, Brother: Gordon Abbott.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday December 9, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Ed Hodge officiating. The family and friends will meet at 10:00 A.M. Saturday December 10, 2016 at Clarks' Grove Cemetery for a graveside burial service. The family and friends will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
