Judith D. “Judy” Critz, 73, of East Peoria, passed away at 7:16 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016 at her home.

Born August 1, 1943 in Peoria to Ralph and Helen (Spiker) Dewey, she married Ronald Wilson, Sr. and later married James Eads, Sr. She married Boyd Critz, III on September 14, 1996 in Peoria. He died February 23, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four sons, Gregory Eads, James Eads, Dennis Eads, and Tim Eads; one brother, Dennis Dewey; and one sister, Sharon Dewey.

Surviving are one son, Ronald (Wendy Sue) Wilson of Pekin; three step-children, Boyd Critz, IV, Catherine Critz, and Diana Carroll; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and the upcoming birth of a great-great-grandchild. She also leaves behind, Kathy Zeiters, who she thought of as a daughter and always called “Sweetie”.

A homemaker, Judy had worked at Montgomery Wards and Bosch Trucking. She had attended Woodruff High School in Peoria.

Judy was a lover of all animals, big and small, especially her cats, dogs, and birds. She was a free spirit and was loved and will be missed by many.

Her visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services and cremation will be accorded.
