Elijah TEAGUE, 1759-1824, was son of Joshua TEAGUE, 1732-1804, and of his wife Dorothy GAUNT CALDWELL [variant spelling: GANT, GANTT, GAUNT, GANN; GANT], 1729-1803, formerly of Tegg's Cove, Cecil County, Maryland, late of Laurens District, South Carolina;

Elijah TEAGUE, 1759-1824, was a legatee and enumerated in the will of his father, Joshua TEAGUE, 1732-1804, deceased, of Laurens County, South Carolina, as were his brothers, Israel TEAGUE, William TEAGUE, and ABNER TEAGUE; daughter Isabella TEAGUE MASON; son-in-law, William GRAY [GARY]; daughter, Sophia TEAGUE LYON; son, James TEAGUE, daughter, Susannah TEAGUE MAFER; daughter, Mary M. ADDOM [sic. McADAMS]; son, Elijah, Israel and Agner appointed as executors of Joshua TEAGUE's will;
