On the morning of September, 17, 2016, Irene passed away at her home in Granite Bay, CA. Irene was born in Satanta, KS. and was the daughter of Rufus and Lola (Ward) Hostetler. Irene was happily married to Kenneth W. Snyder (Lt. Col. Ret.) for over 52 years. As an Air Force wife of 20 years, she lived in numerous locations in the United States, as well as several overseas assignments. Irene was the owner of Snyder's House of Jade in Folsom, CA. Her son, Mark and his wife, Becky continue to operate the store.
