Jimmy Don Hunter, 73, of Little Clear Creek, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Barbourville ARH. He was born in Clear Creek on March 16, 1943 a son of the late Floyd Grant and Lou Gertrude Fuson Hunter. Jimmy had been a member of Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for 46 years and had served as a Deacon for 37 years. He had worked at thee Middlesboro Tanning Company for over 20 years as a Set Out Man.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Aubree Hope Hunter and a sister-in-law, Bertha Hunter.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Teresa Cody Hunter; children and their spouses, Waylon and Jackie Hunter, Mark and Teresa Hunter, Jeanetta "Dooper" and Clint Goodin; grandchildren, Colton Hunter, Derek Hunter and wife, Alleigha, Caleb Hunter, MiKayla Goodin, Mandy Jo Hunter and Cody "Juk" Goodin; great-grandchildren, Kaytee, Chelsea, Grace, Brooklyn and Easton; also loved as children, Richard, Ginger, Tommy, Tim and Gab Barnett; brothers and sister, Marilyn Fuson and husband, Arnold, Bobby Hunter and wife, Helen and Charles Hunter, sister-in-law, Jeanetta "Net" and Earl Dean Clemons and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at the Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Clint Goodin, Rev. Tim Barnett, Rev. Rick Barnett and Rev. Tommy Barnett. Music will be by the Fuson Chapel Choir. Burial will be in the Fuson Chapel Cemetery at Little Clear Creek. Pallbearers will be Colten Hunter, Derek Hunter, Caleb Hunter, Cody Goodin, Gab Barnett, Tom Scalf, Ewel Myers and Keith Fuson. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Fuson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
