Preston MacArthur Bradford Jr., 41, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006 in Mears. Born on April 10, 1965, he was the son of Florence Mae Jones Linton of Parksley, and the late Preston MacArthur Bradford Sr. He was an auto mechanic and a member of Hollies Baptist Church. Other than his mother, Preston is survived by three children, Preston M. Bradford III, Dylan Carl Bradford and DeAnna Lyn Bradford; a sister, Margie Grace Bradford and her fiancÈ, Martin Vazquez, of Accomac; a girlfriend, Lori Johnson Thornton and her children Tabitha and the late Sabrina; one niece, Ashley Jewell Bradford; and one nephew, Martin Bradford Vazquez. Funeral services were conducted from the graveside at the Wachapreague Cemetery on Friday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Chalfant officiating. Visitation was at the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Thursday, Jan. 4 from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home.
