Michael Lee Aubrey Sr.
Michael Lee Aubrey Sr., 68, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.

He was a native of Jefferson County, served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a member of Cedar Springs Church of Christ.

He retired from International Harvester and was a faithful husband and father.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Cindy Faye Aubrey and Tammy Hornback; his parents, A.J. and Evelyn Welch Aubrey; and a brother, Wayne Aubrey.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Freda Nicholas Aubrey; a son, Michael Lee Aubrey Jr.; four grandchildren, Joseph Foss, Drew Hornback, Michael Foss and Logan Foss.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Brother Steve Campbell officiating. Burial follows in Union Christian Church Cemetery in LaRue County.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
