LeRoy 'Rusty' Dellwo, age 83, of Shakopee, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Shakopee. Special 'thanks' to the staff for the love and kindness they showed Rusty.

LeRoy was born on February 17, 1932, in Shakopee, to Irene (Tessmer) and George Dellwo. He married Juliet Siegle on May 17, 1952 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Carver.

He is survived by sons, Steven of Golden Valley, Thomas of Savage, Robert of Chaska, and Brian of Shakopee; many nieces and nephews.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife, Juliet (2002); parents, George and Irene; sisters, Lorraine McHale and Joanne Hennen; brothers, Donald, Richard, Harold, Elmer, and Wayne.

LeRoy was self employed in drywall, and specialized as a taper and sprayer. He worked on many houses in the Shakopee area.

LeRoy served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the V.F.W. 4046 in Shakopee, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He loved hunting and fishing. LeRoy also liked playing cards, especially poker and phlume. He most enjoyed sitting on the porch visiting with neighbors and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held at McNearney Funeral Home in Shakopee. Interment Catholic Cemetery, Shakopee.
