Alard Lincoln Hanover, 85, of San Marcos died Monday. He was born in Hillside, N.J., and was an insurance broker with Fidelity Savings & Loan.
He was retired from the Marine Corps and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Hanover; daughter, Jeanette Hanover of Montgomery County, Pa.; sons, Alard Jr. and Stephen Hanover of Montgomery County and Robert Hanover of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; stepdaughter, Darla Kennedy of San Marcos; brother, Robert Hanover of Pacific Palisades; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services: 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside.
Interment: after services, Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside.
Arrangements: Allen Brothers, San Marcos.
