Nichols,James E.Blankenship,and his wife,Bonita J.Blankenship,Lindsay L.Blankenship and his wife,Melissa D.Blankenship,Porter D.Blankenship;six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.The family wishes to express special thanks to family and friends and especially to the team nurse,Jana Byrd and Medi Home and Hospice.Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m.Friday,January 21,2011, at Wise Ave. Church of God of Prophecy,1616 Wise Ave,Roanoke Va.With Pastor Doug Milliner officiating.Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends Thursday,January 20, 2011,from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel,540 982-2221.
