Mildred L. Cheechov (Millie) went to be with her Savior on November 23, 2016. Millie was born in French Camp, CA on June 5, 1932 to Chester and Alta Harrington.
After spending her youngest years in Thornton and Lodi, Chester moved his family to Dixon to operate a dairy on Batavia Road. Following elementary and junior high school in Dixon, the family moved to Elmira. Millie graduated Vacaville High School in 1951. She was married to her beloved John Cheechov for 54 years prior to his passing in 2004.
Millie is survived by her four children, Alec (Debie) Cheechov of Springfield, OR, Pam (Mark) Thomas of Oak Harbor, WA, Andy (Suzanne) of Gardnerville, NV, and Chet of Las Vegas, NV. Four grandchildren, Jake Cheechov of Pleasant Hill, OR, Allysa Thomas of Vacaville, AJ (Allie) Cheechov in the US Navy, and Sarah (Jeron Hahn) of Gardnerville, NV, and three great grandchildren, JW Cheechov, and Macie and Anthony Hahn.
She was preceded in death by her beloved, John, her parents, sister Margaret, and grandson Tyrel Cheechov.
Services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 1:00pm at McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville.
