NICHOLAS GRAY
A lingering illness terminated in the death of Nicholas Gray yesterday at his home, 19 Maffet Street, Plains, Mr. Gray was born in England 65 years ago and spent most of his life in Hudson.
Surviving are his wife and the following children: Nicholas and James of Wilkes-Barre, Charles and Mrs. Daniel Davies of Plains. He also leaves these three brothers and sisters, Anthony of Buttonwood, Mrs. J McCloskey and Peter of Wilkes-Barre, James of Parsons, Mrs. Thomas Scutt of Hudson and Mathew of Shavertown.
The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. (see below)

Scores of friends and relatives attended the funeral of Nicholas Gray held yesterday afternoon from the family home, 19 Maffet Street, Plains. There was a wealth of floral offerings from neighbors and friends.
Services were held at the residence with Rev. H. E. Russell, pastor of Plains Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. He was assistant by Rev. Eber Seymour, pastor of Hudson Primitive Methodist Church.
Bearers were Joseph Gray, Mathew Gray, Walter Gray, James Scutt, Peter McCloskey and Harry McCloskey. Burial was in the family plot in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, where Rev. Russell conducted the services at the grave.
