Obituary from The Daily Herald (Provo, Utah) - Tuesday, September 18, 1973:

SALT LAKE CITY - Graveside services for Louisa Mae Epperson, 91, of 435 E. 300 S., Salt Lake City, who died Sunday of injuries suffered in an automobile accident, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.

She was a native of Midway and the sister of Ace Davis, Midway.

The accident occurred at the intersection of 2100 S. and 300 E. Her daughter, Mrs. Blanche W. Emery, Salt Lake City, was listed in serious condition at Holy Cross Hospital with abdominal injuries.

Salt Lake City Police reported a northbound car driven by Donald Epperson Emery, 35, Salt Lake City, collided with a westbound auto operated by Rick Scott Holtman, 19, also of Salt Lake City. Mr. Emery received minor injuries and Mrs. Holtman apparently was not injured.

Mrs. Epperson was born February 18, 1883 in Midway to Mormon William and Louisa Walters Davis. She married Elmer D. Epperson on December 7, 1903 in Midway, and he died in 1909. She was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Emery and Mrs. Thomas (LaVaun) Engers, both of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ace Davis, Midway.

Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Wednesday fro 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
