Colleen Roos, 87, was born October 15, 1929, in Seattle, WA. She died in her sleep on October 29, 2016, in Lynnwood, WA. Her husband, J. Richard Roos and parents, Milton and Viola Lowe, preceded her in death. A graduate of Roosevelt High School in Seattle, Colleen earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. In 1952 Colleen married J. Richard Roos. Prior to beginning her family, Colleen taught in the Seattle and Edmonds School Districts and in Mountain Home, Idaho. After raising her children, Colleen returned to the work force and joined her husband as the receptionist in his dental practice in Lynnwood until his death in 1999. Colleen was active in the community with the Stevens Hospital Auxiliary (past president) and PEO Sisterhood Chapter EJ (past president). She loved her weekly ceramics class, traveling, and spending time with family at their Whidbey Island cabin.
