She attended Ogden City schools, graduating from Ogden High School. She married Leland C. Richardson Oct. 3, 1932. They were sealed on May 2, 1941, in the Salt Lake Temple. She lived in Washington Terrace, Ogden, Huntsville, Hyrum and North Ogden. Lee died Aug. 11, 1980. She later married Paul A. Neilsen and moved to Hyrum. She was a very active and faithful servant in the LDS church, holding many positions, including Relief Society president, Primary and Young Women's teacher. She served two LDS missions: Rochester, N.Y., mission with Lee and the Tampa, Fla., mission with Paul. She also served as a temple worker in the Ogden and Logan temples. She and her sisters compiled a book on the Rasmussen Family and had it published. She had worked at the Children's Nursery at Washington Terrace during World War II, at the Brenda Kent Sewing Mill, and Hill Air Force Base, where she retired. Her hobbies included writing poetry, crocheting, sewing, fishing and actively supporting her husband, Lee, in the scouting program. She was a very sweet, loving and compassionate lady and mother. She enjoyed doing genealogy work and was very proficient in getting the work done for her ancestors.
