He was born in Benevola, a son of Clarence and Susie C Jones Baker.
He was a member of Manor Church of the Brethren; and a veteran of World War II, serving with the U S Navy.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs Donna Kay Stottlemyer, Hagerstown; a sister, Mrs Evelyn Bowers, Rt 1, Boonsboro; a brother, Paul Baker, Rt 1, Boonsboro; and one granddaughter.
Services at Manor Church of the Brethren on Wednesday at 2 pm, the Rev David Webster officiating. Burial will be in Manor Cemetery.
