COLUMBIA - Yesterday morning at 11:45 o'clock, at her home in this city, Mrs. Amelia M. Browne, one of the oldest residents of the city, the estimable wife of Rev. Sidi H. Browne, editor of the Christian Neighbor, died.
The deceased had a large circle of friends who will lament her death.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Henry Bass of Winnsboro, and was born on November 10, 1823. All her life she was a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
