William Glen Merideth, 106, of Forsyth, Missouri.

William Glen Merideth, a lifelong resident of Taney County Missouri, was born October 13th, 1910, at Shoal Creek, Protem, Missouri, the son of Zachariah and Nancy Jane (Decker) Merideth. He went to be with his Master on November 27th, 2016, at the age of 106-years. Paternal Grandparents, Abraham & Mary "Polly" (Carnes) Merideth; Maternal Grandparents, William & Elizabeth "Eliza" (Merideth) Decker.

Preceding him in death were siblings, Clarabelle Susie (Trammell), Doss Abraham "D.A.", (infant) Flossy, Frank Owen, Hatty Mae (Thomas, Johnson), Oval Jewell (Fisher)and Orville James Merideth.

He is survived by his wife of 73-years, Mildred Lucille (Cobb) Merideth; daughter, Dorothy "Peggy" Marie (Merideth) & husband Reverend Doyle Turner, of Thornfield, Missouri and son, Reverend Glen Dale & wife Judy (Gilbert) Merideth of Grandview, Arkansas; granddaughters, Regina Ann (Turner) & husband Michel Gooley, Crystal Lea (Merideth) & husband Wesley Gladden; great-grandsons, Michael & wife Leah Gooley, Christopher & Jacob Gooley, Dawson Gladden; and great granddaughter, Chloe Gladden.

Glen was a devout Christian. He and Lucille attended the Forsyth Assemblies of God Church until he became unable to drive, then attended the New Vision General Baptist Church. He was a carpenter by trade. He worked at a sawmill and as a surveyor's helper. In youth, he traveled to the state of Oregon and worked in the orchards. Glen was a sportsman, fishing and hunting were a delight. Calling up wild turkey was a challenge. He served on the Cedar Creek School Board, was an avid story teller, and a dedicated Republican.

Glen loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved his neighbors and his fellow Christian friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
