Charles (Good Times) N. DeMarco, 71, of Pittston, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016 in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Tarullo DeMarco.

Charles was a 1962 graduate of Pittston Township High School and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the garment industry. He was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers Union and the Italian American Citizens Club, Browntown.

He was preceded in death by his infant son and brother, Leonard DeMarco, and brother-in-law, Frank Nesgoda.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, the former Elaine Dougherty; and daughter Alicia DeMarco, at home.

Also a brother, Nicholas and his wife, Mary Louise Demarco, West Pittston; and a sister, Josephine Nesgoda, Dupont; and an aunt Theresa Tarullo, Pittston; along with numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, William Street, Pittston with the Msgr. John J. Bendik, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Exeter.
