STRICKLAND, Bernice L. 98, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colen Wesley Strickland; her sons, John Wesley Strickland, Gary Eugene Strickland and Colen Leroy Strickland, and a daughter, Pauline Strickland. Bernice is survived by her sons, Thomas V. Strickland (Judy), James W Strickland (Lucretia), Julian B Strickland and Howard Strickland; her daughters, Mildred E Dean and Rebecca Thomas (Blain); a nephew, George Johns (Olga); a niece Dorothy Parker; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held at Bloomingdale Community Cemetery 3301 Bloomingdale Ave Valrico, FL 33596 on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Cornerstone Mike Conley Hospice House at in her name. Arrangements under Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon.
