Bruce K Grover, 64, of Rigby, Idaho passed away, Saturday, November 26, 2016. He was born August 8, 1952 in Rigby, Idaho, the son of Melvin Grant Grover and Alice Mae King Grover. He attended schools in Rigby, Idaho and graduated from Rigby High School with the Class of 1971. He continued his education at Ricks College, in Rexburg, Idaho.
On July 14, 1972 Bruce married Ronda Darlene David in Roberts, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in February of 1976. He has been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He has served as a counselor in both his Elders Quorum Presidency and High Priest Group Leadership. He has also served as a librarian to his ward and as a leader for 14 years in the Boy Scouts of America.
Bruce farmed in the Rigby area. He served on the board of the Rudy, Burgess, Great Feeder and South Rigby Canal Systems.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Ronda Grover of Rigby, Idaho. His children; Angela (Leo) Pereyra of Labelle, Idaho, Dorubary (Joe) Tremblay of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Dawn Grover of Rigby, Idaho, Dwaine K Grover of Rigby, Idaho, Melvin Grant Grover of Rigby, Idaho, Clint D (Angela) Grover of Rigby, Idaho and Ryan (Jenny) Grover of Rigby, Idaho. Sisters; Delores (Steve) Bennett of Rigby, Idaho, Marsha (David) Sessions of Rigby, Idaho, Dian Grover of Rigby, Idaho, Elaine Packer of Rigby, Idaho, Carol (Rick) Frogner of Roberts, Idaho, Jackie (Doug) Cotner of Las Vegas, Nevada, Julie (Steve) Campbell of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Linda Grover of Rigby, Idaho and Kaylyn (Steve) Monk of Washington. A brother Stephen (Diana) Grover of Rigby, Idaho and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Joy Ellen and a grandson, Bryant Allen.
Funeral services will held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Rigby LDS 10th Ward Chapel (4021 East 300 North, Rigby). The family will meet with friends on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 7 to 8:30 PM at Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W. Main Street, Rigby) and again on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 at the Church. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
