FRANK LEE OXSHEER, age 77 of Alvin, Texas passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side. Frank was born April 2, 1939 in Chireno, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 51 years. He was a carpenter by trade and owned and operated Texas Contract Construction Inc. since 1976. Frank served in the United States Army from September 23, 1958 to July 8, 1961 and was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Dickinson, Texas. He loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Selma Oxsheer.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Peggy Jean Oxsheer; daughters, Loretta Marian and husband (Patrick), Lorenda Oxsheer and boyfriend (Joe Kopcak); sons, Michael Oxsheer, Robert Oxsheer and wife (Rachel), Phillip Oxsheer and wife (Cheryl); sister, Trudi Oxsheer; brothers, Patrick Oxsheer and Michael Oxsheer; 10 grandchildren, Amanda, Sean, Aaron, Emily, Jordan, Devon, Jessica, Michael, Marcus and Danny; 3 great grandchildren, Jonathan, Kadin and Alexus; aunt, Sister Gertrude; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He had a passion for racing and his racing family was a huge part of his life. He was a true artist and spent many hours in his woodworking shop. Another great passion he had was restoring his 1951 Mercury and his 1931 Model A Coupe which he won many awards with. He truly enjoyed their home in Terlingua Ranch that he built with his own two hands and spent many of wonderful days riding in the desert with his Terlingua friends and family. He enjoyed sharing his life with gatherings of family and friends. His favorite gathering was the one he hosted the annual crawfish boil for the past 19 straight years.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4100 Hwy. 3 Dickinson, Texas 77539.

Interment to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Danbury, Texas.
