Jennie Montgomery, age 93, of Shamrock, died Sunday, March 3, 1996.
Mrs. Montgomery was born in Independent County, MO. She married Jacob Montgomery in 1921 at Plymouth. He preceded her in death. She made her home in the Samnorwood community and was a cafeteria cook at the Samnorwood school from 1947 until her retirement in 1967.
Survivors include five daughters: Mary Patterson, Martha Coleman and Shirley Montgomery, all of Shamrock; Geneva King Carr of El Paso and Rita Favor of Childress; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a
great-great-grandchild.
