Pat passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016. She was a resident of Winston for twelve years and had also lived in Canyonville, and Myrtle Creek.
Pat graduated in 1955, from San Jose High School and San Jose State with a Bachelor of Arts in 1959. She was a Secretary for the city of Roseburg and a homemaker. Pat was an avid painter, loved reading, a member of the upper Olalla Apron Club which works to preserve the heritage and history of the Upper Olalla Valley.
She is survived by her daughter, Marzee (Doug) Bentley; a daughter in-law, Rachel Inge; grandchildren, Jamie (Bentley) Edwards, Kendall Bentley, Lauren Bentley, Emma Inge and Madaline Inge; also a great-grandson, Samuel Douglas Edwards; numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Anna Marie Reed and Eileen Tomme.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Don; a son, Devin; and her parents, Marvin Chester and Kathryn Sue (Johnson) Barnes.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Wilson’s Chapel of the Roses. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Umpqua Valley Christian School, A special thank you to Michaella Young – Tender Home Care and Chantele’s Loving Touch.
