BOONEVILLE – Annie Bridges Shockley, 92, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at the Landmark Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Norris Chapel Baptist Church in Mantachie. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Minor Bridges; and her second husband, Fletcher Shockley; and one son, Donald Bridges.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thomas Langley, Bro. Jimmy Newby and Bro. Danny Short officiating. Burial will be in the Ozark Methodist Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley McDougal and her husband, Sammy, of Corinth, Ode Lee Tueffel and her husband, Ron, and Mary Lou Franks and her husband, Clatus, all of Booneville; three stepdaughters, Bess Hunkapillar and Dean Jackson, both of Booneville, and Emma Floyd of Blue Springs; one son, Sam Bridges of Booneville; four stepsons, James Shockley, Bobby Shockley, Sonny Shockley, all of Booneville, and Robby Shockley of Somerville, Tenn.; two sisters, Ovell McKinney and Avil Kitchens , both of Booneville; one brothers, Ernest Blaylock of Birmingham, Ala.; 26 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrand- and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue today until service time at the funeral home.
