VILLE PLATTE, La.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Marie Hazel Bunyett, 97, announces her passing on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
A loving mother and grandmother, Hazel will be greatly missed by her children, Donald Bunyett and wife Brenda of St. Amant, Gene Bunyett and wife Jan of Gonzales, and Carolyn Ardoin and husband Ronald of Turkey Creek. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her eight grandchildren, Denise Stein and husband John, Donna Duplessis and husband Bris, Darrin Bunyett and wife Leslie, Curtis Bunyett and Donna Brown, Janice Bunyett, Kristy Ardoin Lahaye and husband Billy, Craig Ardoin And wife Kristy, and Ryan Ardoin and wife Rachel, nineteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
She now rests with her husband Loyd Bunyett and parents, Theomile and Eulalie Deville.
At the request of the Bunyett family, visitation will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at St. Landry Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM at the church.
Ms. Hazel will be laid to rest at Ferguson Cemetery.
