Mother of Freddie Mercury. Jer married husband, Bomi, a former cashier in the British Colonial Office. The couple and their two children Farrokh (Freddie) and Kashmira fled Zanzibar, Tanzania to Feltham, Middlessex, during the Zanzibar Revolution in 1964. After Freddie's death, the couple moved from London to Nottingham to be close to their daughter Kashmira and their grandchildren. Bomi passed away at age 95 in 2003. In keeping with her Parsee religion, she is to receive a private Zoroastrian funeral ceremony.
