George and his friend John Larkin moved into Maryland after the Puritan Revolution and the reestablishment of religious freedoms by the Calverts. George, an educated man, became a surveyor for Lord Calvert. Living in London Towne, he was in the group that established All Hallows Parrish ~1669. It then became one of thirty Maryland churches organized under the Act of Establishment in 1692 by King William and Queen Mary. George's will, attached picture, is one of the oldest in the MD Archives. In it, he splits his possessions between his nephew Otho Holland and his friend's son, Thomas Larkin.

Two interesting questions: Were these people showing knowledge of the family in naming Otho, a name not in the family since founding Knight of the Garter, Sir Otho de Holland, in the 1300s. And a church named All Hallows was a family church across the moat from The Tower of London.
