OBITUARY:
God reached down and rescued Marion E. Clark, Calling him home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, March 26, 2007.

Marion was born in Foyil, Oklahoma October 3, 1926, to Troy and Lona Melissa Faye Clark. He grew up in Pryor, Oklahoma with his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

He graduated from Pryor High School and was drafted into the United States Army Infantry in 1945. Following his tour of duty in Korea, he returned to Pryor where he courted and married Bobbie Adair in 1947.

Shortly after their nuptials, they moved to the Tri-Cities where Marion began his career as in ironworker in Hanford, Washington. He continued at Hanford, climbing to a supervisory position until he retired in 1989.

Following retirement, he enjoyed his role as grandpa to his seven grandchildren, serving at First Baptist of Kennewick, gardening, yard work, and fixing things around the house. Occasionally he fished and golfed and he and Bobbie traveled to England, Canada and "Old Mexico." Marion was known for his unselfishness and willingness to sacrifice time to help others.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bobbie; two daughters, Debra Crosley of Stevenson Ranch, California, and Karalee Harris of Richland, Washington; one sister, Freddie Livengood and two brothers, Troy and Austin Clark, all of Oklahoma; one brother, Denzel Clark, of Texas. He leaves seven grandchildren, Trisha Theobald, Audra Trujillo, Emma, Daniel, Benjamin and Megan WestermannClark, and Lindsay Harris; and two great-grandchildren, Logan Theobald and Anne Trujillo. He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Clark, his mother and father and two sisters.

Public visitation will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2007. All will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick, WA. A reception will follow the service.
