General J. Marshall, 75, Hillsville, Va., Route 2, died at his home at 5 a.m. Sunday.

He is survived by two sons, Guy Marshall of Mayberry, W. Va., and Clinton Marshall of Montcoal, W. Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Dewey Brady of Hillsville, Va., Route 2, Mrs. Lonnie Bowman and Mrs. Roy Ingram, both of Montcoal, W. Va. Several grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rome Baptist Church near Hillsville, with Rev. Charlie Simmons officiating. burial was made in the Marshall family cemetery.
