She was born Aug. 11, 1889 in Frederick, Okla., the daughter of John F. and Minerva Davidson Rhodes.
She married Earl Bowsher in 1917 in St. Charles, Mo. He died in 1959.
Also preceded her in death were one daughter, Jean Rankin, in 1951 [sic, 1952]; three brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are one son, Lynn E., of Springfield; two daughters, Patty D. Bowsher and Betty L. Moore, both of Virden; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held at Berry Funeral Home, Virden.
Burial was in Virden Cemetery.
